The Jardines de la Reina fishery is located off the south-central shore of Cuba within a marine reserve. The Jardines de la Reina experience is for those seeking angling adventure, amazing food including seafood served daily and second to non service. You will be transferred by bus from Havana to the port at Jucaro (about a five-hour drive) and then embark on a three-hour comfortable boat ride to your final destination which lies approximately 100 kilometres (60 miles) from Jucaro port. This destination offers four live aboard options: the Tortuga, a floating hotel, and three luxury motor yachts. The fishing program is predominately focused on angling for bonefish, permit and tarpon; however, numerous other species are present and will take a fly. A normal week in the Jardines includes five full days of fishing and one to two half days depending on your schedule and mode of transportation to Jucaro. The season in the Jardines is from mid-October to the end of August.
